Throughout the year we remember our Veterans’ sacrifices, collecting Poppy Day donations to help our Veterans and their families who sacrificed so much for us. If you shop at Jewel in New Lenox on Nelson Road, please consider making a Poppy donation to the New Lenox American Legion Auxiliary Post 1977. The Auxiliary will be collecting on June 20, 2020 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The poppy is the internationally known and recognized symbol of the lives sacrificed in war and the hope that none died in vain. On September 27, 1920, the Poppy became the official flower of The American Legion Family. We thank you for your continued support!!
